We’ve met a lot of people in the last couple of days. On Friday, we got to see Liam again. We got to spend another hour with him and his foster family and we have another video of him.

Later that day, we met with some of our old Korean teachers and had a good time catching up at dinner. Being college students, they took us down through the bar hopping district for dessert afterward.

Saturday, we met with Sophia’s foster parents again for a snack a the restaurant downstairs and then went shopping in the stream district for a hanbok for Sophia. Kathleen wanted to go soak her feet in the stream but I had to remind her not to go into the stream because it is so polluted that it will dissolve your feet. Skepticism was expressed.

Today on Sunday, we’ve started winding down and getting ready to go home. We caught up with our teacher, Soo Hyun again, and she helped us find another hanbok for Liam and we had dinner at a great Japanese restaurant.

Now we’re working on getting all the stuff we brought packed back into our luggage.

Tomorrow, the long flight back home. See you in America!

We got to meet Liam the first time today and he is totally adorable! He wasn’t too sure about us at first and didn’t want anyone else to hold him other than his foster family. But Kathleen sang to him and I took him down to see the fish which he thought was hilarious. Unfortunately, we didn’t have that much time with him today but I think he took to us pretty well. We’ll be spending more time with him and his family on Friday so you’ll get more pictures and video then.

Tomorrow we’re meeting Sophia’s foster family. It will be good to catch them up on how well Sophia is doing.

Afterward, we headed out to have some lunch. Indian food, cream soda latte, and sesame ice cream were on the menu.

Yesterday we got travel clearance to get Liam. Our flight to Korea is on Sunday and the week after he’ll be home! I’ll be blogging as much of our trip as possible so stay tuned for updates!

Kathleen heard from the Korean social workers that last month, Liam was already 19 pounds! Hopefully, he’ll be here in a month or two. Vote in the poll in the sidebar and guess how big he’ll be when he gets home!
